renewable energies. Also, the meaning of 'Zero Energy' can be experienced through the exhibition of 8 core technologies
adopted for the ZEB. You can experience the new paradigm of energy policy.

Zero Energy Technology

Exhibitions give information about triple pane and low-emissivity glass windows, external venetian blinds, geo-thermal pump, slanted walls.
These let you understand the benefits of these technologies.
Zero Energy Building

1/30 miniature model of the SEDC building shows where the adopted technologies are applied in the building.
Zero Energy Monitoring

The Building Energy Management System (BEMS) shows you the realtime energy use, generation, and storage about the building.
This shows how the Zero-Energy-Building is being operated.
There are screens showing energy storage system (ESS) and augmented reality of micro-grid.

Blackout and Human Energy Experience

Blackout

You can experience blackout situations in a model train of the Seoul Subway and in a model livingroom of a home. You will learn about why blackouts happen and how to prevent them. You can also learn about safety measures in blackout situations.
One Less Nuclear Power Plant

Reducing unnecessary energy use and energy wasting is the first step and the most important activity to get energy independence. You will have a chance to learn about the stand-by power which causes energy wasting
Human Energy

Human body stores energy. Here, you can experience transforming your energy to electrical energy by riding the bicycle.

It is a citizen-participating exhibition hall that conducts special exhibitions and exhibitions of various environmental cultural works.

2F Seoul Climate Change Learning Hall: A special exhibition about the global climate change is on the 2nd floor.
The main purpose of this exhibition is to draw attention to climate change issues
and inspiring the younger generations to dream about making a greener world together.

3F Community Hall: A multi-purpose room, a classroom for experimental learning, a nursing room and a rest area are located on the 3rd floor.
Air conditioning and controlled natural lighting maintain the space comfortable. You can look around the Heat Recovery
Ventilation System and the slanted walls on this floor.

Dream Library

Provide a place to read books of all ages on climate crisis, energy and architecture.
Nursing Room

A nursing room is equipped with a microwave, sink, changing table, and sofa.
Experimental Learning Room

A variety of lectures are offered on the climate crisis and energy.
Multi-purpose Room

Available for various events like seminars and public lectures.

Solar Playground: This is a public rest area that is designed for people to freely imagine about Energy while enjoying the playground.

A crater on Mars was reproduced in the playground. In this playground you can find soil, sand and rocks that exist on both Earth and Mars.
